My mom dragged me out to see "The Devil wears Prada" at the last minute today (we left when previews were starting), so I had no time to get ready and I looked just like Andy in the begining of the movie-- I had to laugh at myself and my frizzy, un-flat-ironed blonde hair.

The movie wasn't great, though. I expected it to be funnier. That happens a lot lately. Yesterday, I rented Eight Below for my sister. I didn't read the synopsis, and I didn't know what it w as about (no laughing, now). I thought it would be something like Snow Dogs, and that I was in for a good laugh. Instead, I ended up cryinging my eyes out. When it was over I had to go hug wolf and console myself by thinking that at least my husky can be spoiled rotten to make up for the others...

Is a funny movie really too much to ask for?
