(no subject)

I had a great time in Danzig. It was rather crowded because there´s an annual market taking place there, so it was difficult to take pictures, but we managed. I think I´ll just make a long post with pictures from various places when I get back, because I usually take pics in raw format which means they need to be edited. Anyway I´m glad to have finally visited the house where my mom, uncles and grandparents lived before they came to America. It´s a charming house, close to the Baltic sea, though it needs some renovating because the people who were renting it left it in horrible condition.

I have to say, though, that the food in Poland is much better than it is here in Berlin. Maybet´s just not what I´m used to. Or maybe I just don´t know where to find good food here. There´s a lot of ethnic fast food, which I like from time to time, but eating it on a daily basis is killing my stomach. Anything I can find that I eat at home is either way to salty or spicy. I guess I´m going to have to find the time to do more cooking in the apartment.
