Did I mention I got my first job/project as a translator? A German author was looking for a translator for her book, and she contacted one of my professors from last semester. Said professor wasn't taking on any new projects, but she recommended me! I did a sample translation and got the job! The down side is that now I have to work on school stuff, my master's thesis research, and translate a book, all in the next three months. Can we say stress???
