I confess I am more than mildly freaked by the subject of the end of the world, at any date, hence I always bet on a date far into the future, when I'll be no longer *shivers*

Heh. So am I. The reason for this post is that my parents (bless them) have found a guy who says he calculated, based on his lifelong study of the bible, that it's going to be May 21, 2011. It's spoken about on an almost daily basis in this house. *cries*

I hear about it quite often too, and it is only made worse by the fact that I have attended a church that was big on the subject :(

I am so freaked by it that I can't even stand the ambientalist speech about how the Earth is being destroyed by mankind *sighs*
