Drabble: Draco's Wish List

Summary: Harry has grown accustomed to finding Draco’s wish lists before Christmas. But this year, he’s in for a surprise. Written forenchanted_jae’s Monthly Drabble Challenge, with the prompt of ‘chrismtas wishes.’
The first time Harry had found his boyfriend’s Christmas wish list, three years ago, Draco had told him that he’d left it out on the kitchen counter by accident. He had said it was a tradition he’d continued since he'd been a young boy, when his mother had told him that any wishes he wrote down before Christmas would have a greater chance of coming true.
It had seemed like a plausible story, as some of the wishes had been for intangible things, such as the recovery of their lost puppy, Snuffles. Nevertheless, Harry had purchased the exclusive cologne listed as number seven. Snuffles had returned, too.
Since then, the Christmas wish list had taken on a different tradition, one that included Harry-- and his wallet. Draco would leave a rolled up parchment somewhere for Harry to find, and Harry would read it and purchase one or two of the items on the list.
This year’s list was hidden snugly in the space created by a book placed on top of another, smaller book on the coffee table. Harry dreaded opening it, for the wishes kept getting more expensive every year. Last Christmas, he had bought a Rolex. It had been either that, a villa in the South of France, or a Cockatoo. What had Draco come up with this time?
Resigned to his fate, Harry picked up the parchment and unrolled it. His eyes grew wide when he read the first item on the list:
1. A glass anal probe.
Now that was a shock. Draco had always been reserved when it came to sex. It had taken Harry forever to convince him to do it with the lights on; he would never have expected Draco to ask for a sex toy.
Intrigued and grinning from ear to ear, Harry read on.
2. Love Dice
3. Peppermint drops
4. A cock sleeve
5. A strand of pearls (doesn’t have to be expensive)
Harry was digging all but the last one. What did Draco want with a strand of pearls? Cross-dressing might be titillating if it included a skirt and stockings, maybe even a babydoll, but pearls were a bit much, in Harry’s opinion. Yet he trusted that whatever Draco had in mind was in good taste. This year, he would see to it that all of his boyfriend’s Christmas wishes came true.

I love that Draco's the reserved one at sex, and I love his increasingly expensive Christmas wishes -- it's one of those little bits of personality that reminds me that Draco has a canon existence that does often involve being a bit of a jerk :)
