I've been trying to drink more water, too--but I don't like the way cold water makes my throat feel. :/ So I drink tea instead! XD Works just as well, as long as you stick to just a pinch of sweetener, or herbal teas that don't need any. ^_^
It is possible to be a coffee addict and get your recommended 8 cups of water a day. I make a six cup pot of coffee every morning and gradually drink it over a 3 hour period. I also don't go anywhere w/out taking a bottle of water with me. I spent a couple summers living somewhere where you couldn't drink the tap water and just got in the habit of always having a bottle in my purse, in my car, everywhere. You don't realize how precious it is (or how thirsty you get) until it's not readily available. :)
I thought I was the only one that hated water. All I drink is soda and it's showing. My skin is always dry. I've tried drinking water but it just makes my mouth dry and I start bloating.
I used to drink tons of coffee but gave it up recently (it just stopped tasting good to me, and I'd been a coffee-holic!). Now I have a couple cups of herbal tea, and a few glasses of water each day.
I crave soda all the time, though. I know that's not healthy...
I drink about a half-gallon of sugar-free caffeine-free iced tea every day. I have one big cup of coffee every morning, either before leaving the house, or upon arriving at work.
I try to drink 2 water for every coffee - but often don't quite manage that. I do love water - if only it had that sweet, sweet caffeine. Should really cut down on coffee but it makes me feel so crappy when I cut back :( totally addicted...
