Disclaimer: Harry Potter is the property of J.K. Rowling and associated publishers. This fiction was written for fun, not profit.
Summary: If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
"It was a way to escape," Draco said, "nothing more."
Harry stared at his shoe as he kicked aside a pebble in the dirt. It was here on the Quidditch pitch that he and Draco had first snogged not even a month ago. The last few weeks had been more than Harry could ever have hoped for. He frowned, realising that if something seemed too good to be true, it probably was.
"And you don't need to escape anymore?"
Draco shook his head, avoiding Harry's gaze. "It's time to move on with our lives. You and I could never be."

Date: 2009-04-04 12:42 am (UTC)Drabbles are not easy to write, there not only needs to be a snapshot of a moment in time, but to work their needs to be a beginning and an ending, something many don't seem to have. You pulled it off beautifully.
