I would be happy to try. I would be a virgin beta, but I do fairly decently with English grammar, and my nickname at home is "spellcheck". I also know it would involve evaluating the flow of the story. But I could be as involved or as uninvolved with that as you would like. I will probably never be an author myself, but I think I could make some useful suggestions as a beta. So, if you're interested, let me know. I will not be offended in the least bit if you want someone with experience. I mean, if someone like SA or Jae offered themselves up, I would blow me off pronto if I were you. And I think you know I love your Fickle story. I think I was the first reviewer to beg for chapter 2.
sure, just give me your email. I don't have chapter two yet, but I'd like to have chapter 1 beta'd first. Like you said, I'd like to have not only the grammar checked, but also suggestions on how to improve flow, etc. Unfortunately, most betas stop at grammar. I'm really glad to have yura_slash betaing Lost Grimiore. She totally takes my writing apart, which makes me feel like I did a horrible job, but it's worth the improvement in the end. :)
